Who We Are
Hello! I’m Helen Conway, a languages professional from the UK.
I own and run Shamrock Idiomas, a small company in Chile that provides services in English, Spanish and Portuguese to help our clients communicate effectively with international audiences.
I set up Shamrock Idiomas in 2006 with the goal of providing high-quality translation services in Spanish, English and Portuguese to businesses and government agencies in Chile and abroad.
I’m proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 20 years.
We’re still a woman-owned and managed company that has grown by word of mouth from our small beginnings to translate, edit and write texts for customers ranging from independent winemakers, academics and microbusinesses to some of the world’s biggest corporations and the agencies responsible for Chile’s country image around the world.

What we don’t do
Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients where they trust us to deliver quality.
We therefore only work with texts in areas in which we have expertise or that are easy to understand.
For this reason we don’t handle medical or highly technical texts in fields outside our specialist areas.
